It's never a great idea to date a coworker especially an 'underage' one.especially if the age difference is too great. Different states have different laws on relationships/ages and i don't happen to know the CA ones. I would do everything you can to discourage your coworker as it could be seen as sexual harassment along with anything else! It has turned into a numbers game, worse than a dating website, worse than match.com. It does not matter how good you are, you need to apply to hundreds of positions to land any six figure job, unless you get lucky right away, and the interview process can take months, and involve three or four stages of interviews, starting with a phone screen.

I'm always debating this.

Ageism

This seems to be a missing gap between 23 and 30. Makes sense I think. If I leave my age range open I'll see alot of 21-23 and 30-33. However I've considered 24-30 my range.

My thoughts are that I just wont dating someone 21 or under. It would have to be very unique situation (for 21) and Im not matching with people that young. I feel similar about 22 mostly, then 23 is a gray area.

I mean its one thing if I met a girl who was 23 IRL and we really clicked and didnt move fast. But to match with 23 year olds seems different. Like im not 'hunting' for younger women, thats creepy. I find most women 23 and younger just too young. Some 21 year olds are starting to look like highschoolers to me.

I'll go as high as 31 on dating apps and would probably consider 33 my max irl. Nothing weird about that.

I matched with a 23 year old and ive been debating on reaching out or not. Take age out of situation. Its all about stage of life since we are adults right? well I went to college later in life and graduated at 27. So really a 23-24 year could very easily match my stage of life.

But there does seem to be a gen z gap and a really maturity gained through those 24-25 years.

So know im rambling, but Im just wondering what others thoughts are on this?

23 too young for dating apps? Again im not searching deliberately for younger women. I've matched with women as old as 31 and wished they would have responded lol.

once you hit like 35 I'd say that 10 year difference starts becomes less important. But when your under 30 it doest really work that way yet.
